Reverse Proxy and VPS question

I'm new to this topic. I'm trying to find out everything.
I would like to buy a VPS from a DMCA ignored hosting to hide my video streaming storage server.

My question:
Will VPS traffic be as big as my storage server? So if 1TB of traffic goes through my server. And I hide it behind a Reverse Proxy server. Then the Reverse Proxy server traffic will be 1 TB? I'm need to buy VPS with Unlimited traffic?

Reverse Proxy just forwards traffic from VPS to your Storage server. So, yes. Your VPS traffic will be what ever your server traffic is now.
