Quoted for truth. I think it's a very balanced answer, especially for someone on MOZ. There isn't a thing like 100% safe lnikbuilding and PBNs are definitly more risky than the expensive paid editorial links from good sites. Neverless, all link building is against the webmaster guidelines in one way or another, PBNs are just much more obvious if someone from the webspam team ever checks for backlinks. Everybody is doing linkbuilding, a really huge budget just makes it look a lot more natural, but it's neverless manipulation.
