Summary of Dispute:
I’ve purchased five Google reviews from this seller, providing him with multiple business links. He assured me that the reviews would last more than three months, which is why I agreed to pay $10 per review—much more than I could get elsewhere. Unfortunately, none of the reviews stuck for more than five days. I repeatedly checked in for updates, but he didn’t communicate effectively.
On October 9, I reached out for an update, and he responded, “Hi, we are trying. Please give us 24 hours. If it’s not working, we will refund you. I am extremely sorry for wasting your time.” Despite this, I asked if he wanted to try again with a different business, and he agreed, but once again, the reviews didn’t stick. When I inquired about the situation, he said, “We’ve had luck with other listings, but unfortunately it’s not working on your link. Will you accept a refund of $30 and let us keep $20 for our efforts? It stayed for some time, though.”
Ultimately, none of the reviews he created lasted. I patiently requested a full refund, and on October 19, he said he would process it within a week. When I followed up, he mentioned he didn’t have the funds and needed another week.
Frustrated with the delays, I posted about my experience, and he replied, “Oh, I saw your post. Sorry, you are not getting the refund. I put in work and patiently answered your questions.” I’ve also informed him about the dispute, but he threatened to leave negative reviews for my business.
What you hope to gain from this Dispute Resolution: I hope to receive a refund of $50 if possible; otherwise, I request action against his threatening behavior towards clients.
Thank you.
