[Request] Help To Promote Fundraiser Album

Hi there! My friend is working in forestry and has collaborated with some individuals to create an EP in an effort to start a fundraiser album to raise awareness for fire dependent ecosystems. I would love to help them in their endeavor while simultaneously gaining experience in promoting other causes for awareness.

Their EP is on Spotify and so far the only exposure they have is a faceboook post on his timeline.

I was thinking maybe Instagram, facebook, or TikTok ads, but I'm not too sure of the entire process. I just know 100% that I want to help them bring their content to as many people as possible.

If anyone could please point me in the direction of some methods or resources on how to spread this awareness or create a PR campaign of some kind I would be very grateful.

A good idea is create loads of short videos previewing the song and use them for like you said instagram, youtube, tikok ads etc this done on a big scale should work

Great suggestion.
Do you recommend redirecting to the Spotify artist page or a landing page for email signups that includes a link to the artist page?

I’m a bit confused on the priority of the links and which page that the “clicker” sees first and where they should end up.

I dont think using a landing page for music is a good idea. At the end of the day the person clicked on the link to listen to the song they just heard in the preview because they liked it. I feel like you will lose the click by sending them to a landing page to ask for an email.

I would send them straight to the song and get the listen.

For other offers like a e-course or e-commerce product you can entice the "clicker" with a free offer like e-book or sign up to newsletter about the product or service or something like that. I don't think there is enough longevity in music to be able to get an email and a listen.
