Hi!

I want to find a detailed tutorial which explains why we must ping our links?
What's the goal behind this?
If you post a link do-follow/nofollow then google will find it so why?

Making Google find it faster. It takes some time (days or weeks) before Google visits some site, so by pinging you let Google know to come back sooner

The only reason to ping my links is so that they can be indexed quicker by Google

You don't need a tutorial for this.

Not everybody even needs to bother.

If you update content regularly and get good traffic then there isn't much point.

Pinging is just to notify the SE that there is new stuff.
It doesn't mean it will get indexed any faster, although sometimes it helps if you don't update regularly.
