The Pacific island nation is now offering a digital residency and blockchain-based verified ID, which can be used for KYC and ID verification.
It will cost ~200usd and users will receive a physical ID e-residency card and an ID as a nonfungible token (NFT).

There is a wait list. First In First Out.

If you want to add yourself in:

*Limited supply. Invitation and referral only. Access granted in order of the waitlist.

It doesn't allow a citizenship but it'll allow to use a bunch of services (Palau uses US Zip code too).
It will be possible to open e-money wallet accounts in the future as soon as the whole infrastructure is ready.
Republic of Palau is going full crypto. It already made a deal with Ripple for its own coin.
