Repost Articles from Shutdown Website?

Hello,

One of the competitors in my industry was shut down about a year ago. They used to have a lot of great content on their blog. I have used the wayback machine and I can see their blogs even though the website is no longer active. Is it OK to repost these articles on my site? I have searched google for word for word uses of their articles, but nothing shows up which makes me think that the articles are no longer indexed and I should be good to use them. Thoughts?

check article with copyscape
if copyscape show this article is uniqe you can use

Make sure that articles are not in google yet , check with copyscape before reposting .

As long as it passed the plagiarism test in Copyscape. You are good to go

If not showing up in google then you should be good to go, take a sentence from the content and search for it in quotes if it doesn't find it then your ok
