Reporting your competitors to Google

I've seen a few comments like this and all i have to say is this. I don't know you, nor do i care to know you. Your comments have me brimming with pride! You know why? Because we have no mercy for people like you! You say you work hard...I guarantee you don't work harder than us. You know why? Because we are the game changers!
I'm sure you love a nice comment on some site promoting your own...so do we. The difference is we are smart enough and creative enough to do it more effectively & efficiently. Fill forums with poor content, what the hell do you think your post is doing. You act like someone sits down and posts 1000 comments on one "poor guys blog"...that is not a blackhat. I'm sure you do what ever you think is ethical or moral to get your site where you want it to be. Guess what so do we
How is it not ethical or moral for me to comment in a forum or a blog? Just because you can only do it one at a time and i can do thousands while i'm spending time with my kids and enjoying life. What do I mean by "Game Changers"? If it wasn't for us the internet wouldn't evolve as fast as it does. Some how I don't think billion dollar companies are changing there business practices because of people like you. Why don't you post a screenshot of that email Google sent you about how they changed their algorithm for some thing you did. Nothing? How about Facebook or Craigslist? Because of us we make the internet a better place and more secure. I can see you now rolling your eyes. Blasphemy you say. If it wasn't for us google wouldn't strive to make there algorithm better to provide users with the best possible results. Not because of anything you do, but because of everything WE do! We exploit vulnerabilities and loopholes and by doing so shine the light on problems that might never have been seen and corrected. Which gives other users a better overall experience.
You have no mercy for us....we could care less about you! If billion dollar companies can't stop us what makes you think you can. Your the guy who tells the boss all the bad things we're doing, and we're the ones getting promoted past you and then f*&#king your wife while you're working overtime. You said it yourself, "it's war out there", and you're right. Only problem is you've got a muzzle loading musket rifle and we H&K MP-5's. I could go on & on with more metaphors but why bother. By you reporting someones site and it's removed, pat yourself on the back. You won a very tiny battle, but guys like you will never ever win the war!
It's all a game and a serious one at that. For the ultimate prize is one's livelihood. But what you can't grasp is the fact that the game is forever changing and that's because of us. They can change the rules all they/you want, but we don't go away we adapt! Usually the saying goes "Don't hate the player, hate the game". In our case you can hate the player and the game, but you will respect us cuz we ain't going nowhere buddy boy.
So i've wasted enough time on you, time for me to make some more money

What's the point of working hard if you don't get results? I'm all about results. Why would I waste my time getting backlinks, optimizing my site, doing keyword research, etc... which take hours (or money) when I could just report a spammer (which takes a whole 30 seconds) and get a better ranking?

Is it part of your SEO strategy? It is part of mine. Having someone who rank better than you get a penalty is just as good as bumping your own ranking.
I have reported a few competitors to Google. In many niches, most of the results are websites that have been pushed with blackhat techniques: comment spam, link farms, etc... it seems like everyone is doing it now. It's common practice and it's against Google's guidelines.
However, I've never seen any of my competitors get a penalty, get de-indexed, etc... I've waited a few weeks, and even a few months ... nothing. The results pages are pretty much the same, with the occasional new player showing up on the first page.
Did any of you had any luck getting a competitor de-indexed and penalized for going against Google's webmaster guidelines?
Is it just a waste of time to report a website?

I don't see what's wrong with reporting someone who's using an autoblog or spamming if you're a pure white hatter, but when you're posting in the Black Hat section...you really can't be running around reporting "spammers" to try to boost your rank. Black Hatting is built on what essentially is spamming in intricate forms.
How ironic is that? The only hypocrite in this thread is you. You're the one posting in a BLACK HAT forum about reporting people that use Black Hat methods in one way or another. So yes, it is "low", because this "cheater" is using the same methods many of us use around here to try to gain an edge. You're killing your own kind.

If this was so simple, everyone would be busy eliminating their competition by using Xrumer, scrapebox, spamming, etc instead of building links for their own sites
