actually according to me, i will never consider rep.. that names itself is enough.. and also if i ever want to know about a person i would check their post history and little googling..
and let us say since u came out of prison you have rehabilitated well

In some cases peoples rep actually reflect real and valuable contributions made to the forum, in other cases its mostly lounge posts or people rep/thank whoring eachother.
To be completely honest, the last 6 months I have fallen into the latter category. Not that my rep/thanks is anything to write home about, but it was mostly accumulated by slacking and spending days in the lounge making bullshit threads for laughs. Not that it was my intention to gain rep/thanks, but it just shows how misleading it can be.
Maybe make it so that the loungeposts can't be thanked/repped?
(And now that I'm at it : sorry everyone for the amount of trash I've posted the last few months)

This ^. Remove rep in the lounge. I think it will have a huge impact on rep abuse, and for the better.

Brother, I can report the same. No sleep for 48 hours(in truth, had a 1 hour nap at 5 AM this morning). I'm going for a jog or a walk if I feel too tired, it usually clears the mind.

And it isn't too hard to figure out who all is involved in these silly circles. When it comes time to upvote/nominate someone we all go through your posts anyway. If every post is in the lounge or you just post BS, then get used to your name never being anything but blue.

I don't like the idea of removing rep from the lounge. Perhaps there is some abuse, but a lot of positive comes from the lounge too. Lots of emotional support and people helping people. That is very important in this field of work, because we are the only ones who know what it's like to work in this field. No one else understands it like we do.That actually is a great idea. A lot of people need to stop jacking off about their and other people's rep, seriously... I thought BHW was a about making green, but this is getting more and more out of hand and more and more like some other gay internet marketing forums which I will not even mention. Up your game BHW.

No one can identify anyone by their reps,posts or i trader.People are spotlighted only if they are some value to the forum,make sure you are the one who is spotlighted with your valuable contributions to BHW your name will withstand for years
