Removing old blog posts improve ranking yes or no?

those posts could be already ranked on some keywords i would not do that except those posts full of plagiarsm, bad structures, etc

I would never remove them, instead just optimize them.

It depends, i made some tests before about this and removed some old posts that were indexed on Google before, but after that, Google removed them.
I test via site:domain.com/url...
I removed the old pages that were not found on Google Search, and after some time, the blog started to improve in traffic.
If the post is old and not indexed on Google or deindex from Google, then Google doesn't like the post.
But for the posts that were on Google and had 0 traffic, I still let them. (I didn't remove them)

According to me, Removing old blog posts can have both positive and negative effects on your search engine rankings. It's important to consider the following aspects before deciding to remove any content:
1- Relevance and Quality: If your old blog posts are outdated, irrelevant to your current audience, or of low quality, removing them may have a positive impact on your rankings. Outdated or low-quality content can potentially harm your website's overall credibility and user experience.
2- Traffic and Engagement: Evaluate the traffic and engagement metrics for your old blog posts. If they consistently attract visitors, generate backlinks, and contribute to your overall website performance, removing them could result in a decrease in organic traffic and potential loss of valuable backlinks.
3- Redirects and Consolidation: Instead of outright removal, consider redirecting old blog posts to more relevant and updated content on your website. This ensures that users and search engines are directed to relevant information while preserving any SEO value gained from the old posts.

If you choose to remove content, ensure you have a clear plan in place to minimize any negative impact by implementing appropriate redirects or consolidating the content into more relevant pages on your website.

Removing old blog posts with zero traffic can potentially improve your overall traffic and rankings, but it's not a guaranteed solution for every website or situation. Let's explore this topic in more detail:

User Engagement: Blog posts with zero traffic typically indicate that they are not attracting or engaging your audience. High bounce rates and low user engagement metrics can send negative signals to search engines, affecting your overall website performance.

Link Equity Distribution: When you remove old blog posts, the internal links within those posts may no longer serve a purpose. By removing these posts, you can redistribute the internal link equity to other pages on your website, potentially boosting the authority and visibility of those pages.

It can’t be true. Older posts not affect to latest posts. You no need remove old posts, try optimize old posts with new contents and keywords.
