Remove ''HAHA'' reaction from Marketplace section

Very common to see this kind of stuff. A competitor creates a profile just to react with HAHA and the account is never used again.

It's clear that this feature is being abused to try to convey a bad impression about a BST. Many newbies without experience in this forum might think it's a bad offer because there are people reacting with a laugh. Just my opinion, consider it.

In the end, there is nothing to laugh about on marketplace
If you had a bad experience with a seller, you need to open a dispute or leave a bad feedback
HAHA reactions are only being used for competitors in this scenario

but does it actually really mean or cause any issue?

I don't even look at likes or the HAHA, i actually don't even read the comments on 95% of the sales threads. only if i need to deeper research it.

This is not entirely correct, as some sellers keep unreal prices or offer junk.

So, Ha-Ha emoji is valid in a way. It is not about abusing. People abuse paid membership to scam others.


People also abuse Like emoji to improve their thread rating. Many times happened with SMM panels.

I would lose my whole day to showcase it.


Either no action, or simply, remove emoji from marketplace section.

That would make people rely only on reviews, and teach newbies to read the whole thread carefully.

in my first days here, I thought it would have some importance

Yes, i don't even look at them. Pointless in my eyes, don't think it makes any difference, didn't even think about it until you've brought it up and i buy from sales threads quite often.

A bit pointless if you ask me, i don't think that 1 like is going to get many extra sales because of it. Let them waste there time and effort, more things to life then getting that like.

I can see why it's needed rather than wanted in a community, I can see it being abused, and I think it balances out

Totally, but we don't know who is doing this. As the OP mentioned, it could be a competitor or someone else. That's why I think reactions in MP are kinda pointless. If you're satisfied or not with the service a seller has provided, you'll contribute more to the community by writing a review on the BST rather than just reacting. Obviously that depends on the individual.
 
I don't think this would serve too much a difference.

I've never taken reactions into account when purchasing something from a BST. I seriously don't think any serious buyer should as well. I'd look at the comments for a general idea of what to expect.

I know what you said, but I don't believe it's a real problem because if a person have a good product/service and good reviews/feedback, how a HAHA from a newbie that joined yesterday will matter?

If they are using their time to do that, I assume there is a reason for that. If competitors thought it would be useless to try to damage someone's reputation doing that, they wouldn't waste their time creating multiple profiles to spread ironic reactions
 
I kind of agree with this. It definitely has an impact on the seller when a laughing reaction is used, as it gives a negative impression of the thread. When I first saw it, without fully reading the thread, my initial thought was that the seller’s offer might not be up to expectations, which is why people were laughing. But once I read the thread and checked the feedback, everyone was giving positive reviews. When I checked the score, there was only one laughing reaction, and it came from a newly created account with just one post. So, it was clearly from a competitor.
