Does using antidetect browser have the same effect as connecting to a remote computer p2p?
 
No, residential proxies are p2p network.

I don't quite follow you. Do they serve the same purpuse, so I can confidently use proxy and antidetect instead of remote desktop to another computer?
Because proxy alone won't do that, there are still other factors like time zone etc etc.

The remote desktop will be a safer option because it will be a totally different environment, and it is very hard to track if you use RDP + Antidetect browser + Residetial IPs. If you have good budget and you are doing some serious stuffs, I will suggest you this.

Remote desktop is way harder and limited somehow. If antidetect+proxy dies the same I would go for it.
I meant connecting to a nother person computer through remote desktop but you seem to suggest something different.

Websites usually detect your browser settings and IP address not the exact method you're using to access them.
