i dont understand what ur asking us to remember, but you couldve just written:

Remember this when you search your domain on Godaddy next time: Dont

Point is when you search the domain and leave for registering later, they make it premium and charge you loads of money to register. Remember this and do not repeat the mistake.
Well thank you for coming back to explain your post, but just offering a little advice here.. be sure in future posts to clearly spell out what your post is about by adding clarifying information. You will receive more substantive comments in your thread than people wondering what the point of your post is about. Just my two cents on it.

GoDaddy makes some EMDs as premium by default. For example, I searched my domain and found it for $2000 on GD. But when I checked it on others, it's just $1. I waited for 5-6 days as this wasn't a serious project at that time. Now, GoDaddy also shows it for $1. I think they have an algo that automatically changes prices based on user interest. This is not a scam but just a business model.

If you got one idea and the money, buy the domain right away, I guess other registrar does this too

Godaddy is just like paypal- they try all out to grab people's hard earned money.

I remember completely destroying a domain before
shoved it with so much GSA and scrapebox, google gave it the death penalty
I dropped the domain and a few weeks later
i searched it in GoDaddy, it was premium being sold over 50k.

Fast forward a few months later, some moron brought it.
A year after that, that same moron dropped it.
Fast forward a few years later, it's still up for sale & hasn't been brought since, but no longer premium

moral of story: im a fucking retard, i could of sold it to that moron

remember, all domains have some value, you may not just see it right away !
and godaddy, screw them !

The same shit happened on Namecheap. And they even go a step further. Once they locked me from my account and prevented me to renew a domain. Even I kept resetting my password, the account was still locked. I contacted the live chat many times per day to get access to the account, but they were not helpful at all. I provided them with all information, receipts, etc., but the account was still locked.

End of the story: I couldn't renew the domain, it was immediately registered by a Russian (what coincidence Namecheap support is full of Russians) and it then became a sneaker shop. To this point, I just didn't understand why they would lock my account even tho I provided them with all information, had access to the email, etc.
