I'm using majesticseo to gather existing/old links and I'm using inspyder backlink monitor tool to check new links and old ones that I import from majestic. Very useful tool. A must for every link builder.

I am a big fan of paid tools like Majestic SEO & Ahrefs for the backlink data.

I am use analyzebacklinks.com and its awesome to check all back links of any website.
I used to like Blekko till they made it a paid tool. I am not a full time search engine optimizer and don't really see value in spending money on a backlink search tool. I've liked Backlinkwatch but they go down pretty often and when they do, I use this other nice tool called analyzebacklinks

Many ways you can use to check back link such as you can use the webmaster tool and you can get it after registering. you can check it by online. and also, using the seomoz and backlinkwatch.

Seomoz is an excellent free tools to check the website back links. It may be possible that they do not provide the exact data or the data that is provided by them might be bit older one....The best way is to ask your search engine optimization consultant. They have all the advance tool by the help of that they can provide you the exact data about the back-links...
