Backlinkwatch dot com. the best tool ever. the only problem is that they save the result for a certain period.

If you want to check the backlinks from a website you OWN, then nothing beats Google Webmaster Tools.

I use Google Webmaster Tools

I also use domain-pop but I don't think they're very reliable.

I think that the ahrefs is a nice tool. Very quick to update the database. And the interface is better than most other tools. Only grudge is that its a bit expensive. Hopefully, we can get some Boxing day special.
