Hi BHW heros,

I am looking for an affordable SERP checker for a small agency. I actually started the agency recently and I am in love with every $ I spend. I thought it would be a good idea to consult you before I buy or use a tool. I prefer tools that don't need proxy or limits for the search engines locals mainly locals.

Thanks in advance!

Try these:

norrth
.com
or
MicrositeMasters
or
SerpBook.

Serpbook is one of my favourites because of it's slick and clean and accurate interface, which isn't the case with most of the trackers.

the best ever

All desktop rank checkers need you to setup your own proxy. A web-based rank checker is the way to go.

There are a few out there like Serpbook, Serpfox and Accuranker that focus only on rank tracking.

Then there are the "higher-level" ones like Raven Tools and Moz where they do rank tracking, website audit, link monitoring, etc.

For us, we use our own in-house solution because we find that running our SEO agency with a rank tracking tool only is not enough.
We needed a tasks management, rank tracking and client dashboard tool (where our clients can login to view the progress of their SEO campaigns) all-in-one.

If you are looking for a rank tracking tool only then tools like Serpbook and Serpfox are your best investment.

Well, since everyone else is already pimpin' their own services I guess I'll go ahead and say check out SiteCommander ;) We're just coming out of beta and have a ton of features suitable for agencies. </selfpromotion>

Serpbook is good for rank tracking

They also show you graphs of changes in rank every day.

Customers also like to see the graphs of change in ranking when you send that to your customers.

I have used SErankig.com. It has pretty accurate data, frequent rank update, nice finance and branded White Label reports. I run the tool on my own domain. I like it!

I personally use serpfox and rank tracker. Both does their job pretty well.

If you are doing local, go to brightlocal.com and sign up for the 30 day free trial, they have a rank tracker that produces reports you can label with your own agency info, and track up to 50 keywords.

Their reoports can be rendered in PDF, csv, and online on a generic URL with your branding. This posted URL keeps the back history active so your customer can see the history online anytime.

They also have other tools that are designed for Local including citations and review trackers as well as a review acquisition system for your customers website.

This site is great for small agencies, the tools well thought out and the support superb. If you are doing local, the citation tracker is worth the cost alone.

I have a link that gets me a free month of service for each referral (I use the service everyday), if you do not mind using it, PM me
