I made a BST some 10 days ago, and I checked it today and I see it was rejected.

I didn't receive an email or a message or a notification on the forum about the rejection. Had I not checked the BST link, I wouldn't have known. Just reporting this as it's probably a bug because of the update. I mean, right?

So the mod told me what's lacking from my BST thread, but I am unable to edit my BST. And I have "insufficient privileges" to post anything in the rejected BST, so I can't ask the mod about it. I also don't want to PM a mod and bother anyone.

So, in order to resubmit a BST, can I edit my existing one, or do I need to submit a new one from scratch?

Do the later but fix the problem first else it get rejected again

Hm, okay, well, I guess I'll do that. There's no big issues with my thread, just minor edits required.

I would think it's simpler for everyone to edit my existing thread. But okay, I guess I'll make a new one if I have to.

This was answered recently. You'll have to submit a new thread altogether complying with all the marketplace rules.

From what I know. Creating a thread could get managed by another mod instead of the one that rejected it.

It doesn't matter who manages it, this is not Paypal where I'm hoping a sympathetic support person deals with my issue :p

I would just think it would be simpler to allow me to edit my existing thread instead of making me post it from scratch. But oh well...

Once rejected it is not revived.

Just fix it up and post a new one.

My new also got rejected.
Forget the rejected BST you can't make edits simply post new after fix the reason

Here is a question. My thread was rejected because:

"You need your pricing, off-forum contact details, and refund policy in the thread itself, not just linked to. "

Okay, easy fix on the contact details and refund policy. But what am I supposed to do on the pricing? List 50 services with their prices on the thread? Even though I rarely change prices or add/remove services, there's bound to be changes sooner or later, and I know I'm not allowed to edit my BST at will. So listing the services and prices is kinda null because in time there will be changes to the services/prices. A link to my site where the services and prices are listed should suffice, and it's always the current and updated. But I digress.

That aside, my main issue is that listing 50 services on the thread will make the thread super long.

Can I at least add the prices as an expandable spoiler?

Sure you can.

As long as they are in your original post that a spoiler is fine.

BTW, the reason your rejected BST cannot be revived is that it actually goes to a different subforum.

Got it. Thanks man.

Another thing to add to the thread. You can check your rejected BST threads in the account upgrades section itself (scroll down and locate "marketplace threads" section). Here's the URL:

So, no need to keep guessing. :)

I know this doesn't fix your current problem but I had an idea for using an image to keep your pricing up to date (sort of). You could create a screenshot of your pricing page and host it on your server as like pricing.jpg. Then every time you want to update your pricing, just take a new screenshot and overwrite pricing.jpg with the new image.

That's a pretty sweet idea. Though it could be not allowed.

You can't do that AFAIK. Admins have already cleared that out. The image has to be hosted in imgur (or something like that) and can't be modified without mod/admin approval.

lol, you submitted it 10 days ago and got someone looked at it? I submitted mine more than a month ago and got zero replies.

That's too bad but makes sense now that you mention it.

Maybe you did get a reply but didn't see it because of the update. I received no message or notification about the rejection, I just checked my thread and saw it. I think it's a bug because of the update. So maybe check your thread link and see if any update. Also, I don't know what kind of service you're submitting, maybe it takes longer to review than mine.
