For some sections like the BH SEO section and tools, why doesn't BHW limit it to registered users only so google bot doesnt index them?

So that google and search engines don't pick up on this kind of stuff since it is black hat...

Well, so much is considered 'black hat' by Google, not just what is int he sections here I'm sure. You'd end up de-indexing half the forum!

Most people are here because those sections show up in google. That would be like chopping your own head off because your nose is a little itchy.

I think most of these responses have covered it, but this isn't something we would consider. De-indexing part of the forum would be a massive job that would then negatively impact our traffic, so it's a lose-lose.
