Regarding Youtube duplicate videos

I have a question regarding how youtube recognizes duplicate videos in general.

of course except the obvious factors like:

- video length
- sound signature
- same title/description etc.

Any ideas?

I would like to know that to.

Also the file type and how long it's been since a similar video was uploaded. If you're looking to monetize it and they believe it may be duplicate then they will ask for proof of your ownership before it'll be monetized.

Best bet is to slightly alter the length, possibly video format too, and wait some time in between your upload and the prior duplicate.
