I went as phpbuilt on BHW, signed up in 2011. I wrote many helpful guides here on BWH over the years, for instance this one: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/phpbuilts-idiot-proof-guide-to-authority-site-building.631067/ an onpage SEO guide that I know helped thousands in fixing their rankings. However, I haven't really participated much in since prior to COVID. Recently (December 2025) my account was stolen. I only just realized this last week, as I check in on BHW only occasionally so I didn't notice.
Be aware of this, people who steal your account will immediately sell it. Therefore, even though I did not try to sell my account, the person who stole my account immediately sold it.
The support team saw it was compromised and banned it.
People, make sure your passwords are secure and not involved in a data breach. Set up 2 factor authorization, here and anywhere else that offers that.
That being said, I would like to make the following statement:
My account phpbuilt was stolen and then resold to the company located at https://www.linksbynikolas.com/.
I had no part in the sale of my account. I'm assuming that some nefarious individual is running scripts to loop through email/passwords and then if the account is well aged and reputable they sell the account. This Nikolas who was offering a sell thread in the Marketplace purchased the account from the guy who stole it. I went to https://haveibeenpwned.com/ and typed in my email.
This Nikola is guilty of buying my BHW account from whoever stole it. They started a buy/sell thread using the good-will and reputation that I built after participating on BHW for over a decade. I hope they fulfill whatever obligations they initiated by selling link packages to others. Please be advised that I have no association with this individual. I did not sell my account, it was stolen.
From 2011 until the time my account was stolen, I only ever participated on BHW to be helpful to others. I never attempted to monetize my account, even though I subscribed to Jr. VIP many times.
