Hi all,
I'm in a situation where I sold many items in a short time span on ebay, where I dispatched around 5 orders until paypal decided to lock my acount for 180 days. This means I receive no money of the 5 dispatched items until 180 days have passed, so obviously it would be a pure loss and worthless if i would still continue to dispatch the other items to the buyers.
I decided to cancel and refund all orders to the buyers which orders where not dispatched yet.
There were some multi quantity items that I sold (no idea what that means though since I just listed all stuff as individual items) where I was not able to directly refund the buyer but I was forced by ebay to sell a order cancellation request (??? why would I even send a request to cancel an order? i don't have to ask permission for that , but ok) . Some buyers declined the request since they first wanted the money back on their paypal before they'd accept the cancellation request (not sure if they 're trying to scam me, lol).
But now Ebay has given me an invoice of €755!!! yes you read that right,,
A few hours later it was updated to €207 since most refunds came through to buyers, but now few days later it stays at the number. I contacted ebay and they said because it are multi quantity orders it is different...
now the question is, what if I refuse to pay the invoice and come up with the excuse that I was a minor and didn't know about fee's and invoices when i started selling on ebay? what if I just say nothing and ignore them? anyone experience?
