Hey guys,

There's been a lot of buzz about whether Reddit SEO still delivers results in 2025, and I'm here to tell you - it's very much alive and thriving!

Despite the endless algorithm tweaks and tighter moderation, Reddit remains a goldmine for organic traffic, backlink building, and targeted lead generation. Here's what's currently working:
  • Aged Accounts: Reddit continues to favour established, high-karma accounts. Spend some time nurturing accounts with authentic engagement before dropping links.
  • Accounts With Karma: It's very important that accounts have karma because you won't be able to post something on good-establishes subreddits. Of course, you can grow karma on your own.
  • Niche Subreddits: Smaller communities provide massive SEO benefits. Posting valuable content and subtly embedding your links can skyrocket your traffic with minimal competition.
  • Keyword Optimization: Reddit's content is still indexed heavily by Google. Optimize your post titles and content strategically - long-tail keywords perform exceptionally well.
  • Engagement Boosting: Immediate engagement (comments, upvotes) signals relevancy to both Reddit and Google, amplifying your SEO power. Networks and engagement pods can still give you an edge.
I'm currently working with a couple of clients on Reddit SEO, and I will keep you updated.

What's your experience with Reddit SEO in 2025?

Cheers!

Reddit has lot of Authority, No Doubt

But the Main Challenge is Accounts are getting banned, even aged Accounts are getting banned and for blackhat niche it's getting more worse !!

Yep, Reddit SEO is still a powerful strategy in 2025! Reddit threads continue to rank well on Google, thanks to the platform’s high domain authority, active discussions, and long-tail keyword opportunities

Reddit SEO still works if you play it right. Aged and high karma accounts are key new accounts get blocked fast. Niche subs are gold for low competition traffic and keyword optimization helps with Google indexing. Engagement (upvotes/comments) boosts visibility big time.
Still using it for clients and results are solid.

No doubt about it, Reddit is still a great parasite and a juicy way to make money online promoting services and aff links

It still works, but I prefer to comment on posts that are already ranking, it gives instant results

Aged accounts and niche subs = the ultimate Reddit SEO combo in 2025.

Engagement Boosting: Immediate engagement (comments, upvotes) signals relevancy to both Reddit and Google, amplifying your SEO power. Networks and engagement pods can still give you an edge.
What about adding upvotes and comments to your own posts, days or weeks after the post was created?

Honestly, I've found genuine engagement trumps everything else; people can smell a marketing ploy a mile away, so how do you build real connections?

What about adding upvotes and comments to your own posts, days or weeks after the post was created?
Yes, I was commenting on my posts using another account and ordering upvotes for my own comments and posts
