Reddit requires KYC now

If you're actively following social media trends, you'll understand them yourself. Fb implemented live pic verification for new accounts if they trigger spam filters, Twitter implemented KYC for blue badge, and now Reddit is implementing KYC probably if you trigger spam filters. It becomes difficult to run multiple accounts in such a scenario.

There is no drama. We only bother about profit and loss.

Indeed i checked currently with multiple ways- got the same message, so sorry for false claiming.

@Juhku : i regret. That there is something going on- what is your issue with statista? There are Profs, Dr‘s, and even big company’s quoting them- are you drunk?
Would be nice to know what exactly is wrong with statista, since it’s made your day.

It's like the thing with LinkedIn and badges. You just need to write a few lines like "collaborative article" and randomly insert related keywords in the text. Then you give it a like with 3 newly created accounts, and voila, the badge appears. But what a coincidence that in order for it to show up on your profile, you have to verify your account with KYC.

Statista just contains a lot of misinformation. It is not reliable by any means. It's just Wikipedia but for statistics.

They don't themselves conduct statistical research. They just copy the statistics from other papers/sources.

Anything that you can find on Statista can and will be found elsewhere.

If you're going to quote statistics, quote the original source. Not the intermediary.
If you think quoting an intermediary is okay (for reliability), then I literally don't have anything else to say to you other than 'good luck'.

Yea. Very mature of you, an 'adult', to stuck up on my age.

And for your knowledge,
I went through one of the best IT vocational schools in Finland at the same time as I went to one of the most prestigious universities here. At the same time, at the ages of 16 - 19 (median age for universities is 24 here). Also starting my Bachelor's Degree on cybersecurity in a few months.

I have written several papers surrounding the IT field, and also published a full book on how neurobiological disruptions affect productivity on a scientifical level, on a secondary language at the age of 15/16.

Did all that whilst I also started a 6-figure agency at the ages of 16 to 19.

So, yeah, I happen to know a bit about academical research.
I really don't care to answer to you anymore. Whatever floats your boat - you do you.

Just become a Finnish citizen.
We are given up to 4 first names here that we can legally switch and use whenever we want.
I can legally present myself in 4 different first names to any authorities.
That means you can get 4 IDs each with its own first name, and even a fifth that has all names listed.

Foreign companies don't really like me when I do that :)
PayPal caught onto that and blacklisted me for life.

i saw that screen before. reddit didn't like the vpn i was on.
but its slippery slope we all know. soon you will need an account to view a post. and a phone number to make an account. later drivers license kyc for verified status lol.
