REDDIT OFM

Hello guys im just wondering how long should i warm up a new reddit acc to do ofm on it whitout getting banned or shadowbanned ?
To avoid being banned, everything depends on the proxy, its configuration, and the provider. Additionally, your behavior plays a crucial role.

You should act like a human, but honestly, even as a human, I wouldn’t know how to behave naturally on Reddit if I’ve never used it casually. In summary, the key is to remain calm and deliberate with your actions. For example, avoid entering and exiting posts or subreddits in less than 30 seconds. The goal is to engage with a small number of posts—between 5 and 7 at most—over a 15-minute session, which is a good average per session.

You should split your daily sessions into phases. For instance:
  • Start with a 10-minute warm-up session.
  • After 3 hours, do a 15-minute session.
  • After 7 hours, do a 20-minute session.
The focus is to demonstrate that you’re a “normal user.”

Avoid giving upvotes recklessly or commenting on everything you see. Instead, view a post, stay on it for 30 seconds to 1 minute to “read” or watch the video, and only then consider commenting or upvoting.

Read the comments to mimic human behavior, scroll slowly, and view posts at a relaxed pace.

When joining subreddits, take it slow. Once you enter a subreddit, spend about 5 minutes exploring its posts or reviewing its rules.

For the warm-up period before taking actions, spend 1 to 3 days just browsing without commenting or giving upvotes, especially if the account was purchased and originated from another country. However, you can save posts during this time.

For proxies, use a SOCKS5 proxy, preferably a private one to minimize the chance of it being shared by multiple users.

Forget warmups that are robotic, make them as random as possible like a real human does. Anyone giving you an EXACT warmup guide doesn’t know what they’re talking about

What are you talking about? What I’m saying is a simple way to understand how you should act to warm up a Reddit account.

Of course, warming up becomes a pattern, and you might even say there’s no formula for warming up, but deep down there is. There are limits you shouldn’t cross to avoid getting banned; that’s where the patterns come in.

These days NSFW subreddits require accounts that are multiple months old, with thousands of karma. It is not an easy task, perhaps consider buying the accounts.

About 2 - 4 weeks of natural activity usually works before doing OFM

around 1/2 weeks is the best for warming up, also sometime ago i find this warmup guide really useful on my own experience:

Warmup Guide

Follow this warm-up guide to stay off Reddit’s radar and maximize account lifespan.

Step 1: First Login – Day 1
⏱️ Time Required: ~15 minutes

When you first log into the account, do nothing for 24 hours. No posts, no comments, no upvotes. Just scroll.
Since you’re accessing the account from a new IP and device, it’s critical to warm it up like a real user. Scroll through the homepage, open posts with videos or images, and casually explore different subreddits (but don’t join any yet).

This passive behavior builds a baseline of normal activity and helps Reddit trust your account's new environment.

⚠️ Don’t touch the password or email.
Changing them too early could flag the account and lead to bans.

Step 2: Low-Key Engagement – Days 2 to 3
⏱️ Time Required: 15–30 minutes per day

Now that the account’s had time to settle, you can start interacting:

Leave 2–4 comments daily (mix SFW and NSFW subreddits).

Join 1 SFW and 2 NSFW subreddits each day.

Lightly vote on posts: 3 to 7 upvotes daily is the sweet spot.

Keep using the same device and IP from Day 1.

✅ Optional: Add a display name to your profile.

Take it slow. If you want, extend this phase by a few days to be even safer.

⚠️ Still do not change your email or password.

Step 3: First Posts in SFW Subs – Days 4 to 5
⏱️ Time Required: 20–35 minutes per day

Now you can start posting in SFW communities.

✅ Post 1–2 times per day in SFW subs.
✅ Keep commenting: 3–6 comments/day (both SFW and NSFW).
✅ Join 1–2 new subreddits per day.
✅ Maintain your 3–7 daily upvotes.

You can now add a short bio to your profile.

Step 4: First NSFW Posts & Gradual Scale-Up – Days 6 to 10
⏱️ Time Required: 30–60 minutes per day

You’re now cleared to start posting NSFW content — just ease into it:

Day 6: 1–2 NSFW posts

Day 7: 2–3 posts

Day 8: 3–4 posts

Day 9: 4–6 posts

Day 10: 6–8 posts

Keep up your engagement habits (comments, upvotes, browsing). The goal is smooth, consistent growth that feels real to Reddit’s systems.

You can also start adding links to your social profiles or OnlyFans pages. Use trusted bio link tools like:

getallmylinks

beacons

linktree

✅ Add an avatar and banner image during this phase if you'd like.

Step 5: Full Access – Day 10 and Beyond
⏱️ Time Required: 2–4 hours per day

Congrats — your account is fully warmed up and ready for regular use.

From here on, keep things steady and don’t spike your activity too fast. For long-term health:

Limit yourself to under 20 posts per day on organic accounts.

Stay consistent with your activity, and avoid sudden breaks or surges.

Final Tip:
Think of your Reddit account like a gym routine — consistency beats intensity. Treat it like a real user would, and you’ll avoid bans, reach more people, and get more value out of every account.

the longer you warm up the better it is.

Few days to a week time or also 2 weeks is the best option

After you pass this time the accounts become pretty strong

Warming up is not your only issue. You need to start scouting for subreddits that allow the accounts you plan to use to post on them.

Majority of subreddits no longer allow low karma profiles to post

If you're not sure what you're doing, you could warm up a Reddit account for weeks and still get banned when you start posting. It's not just about the time you spend warming it up; it's more about the quality of your activities. Focus on being as human-like as possible. Don't overthink how to make Reddit like you; just act naturally.
