To avoid being banned, everything depends on the proxy, its configuration, and the provider. Additionally, your behavior plays a crucial role.Hello guys im just wondering how long should i warm up a new reddit acc to do ofm on it whitout getting banned or shadowbanned ?
You should act like a human, but honestly, even as a human, I wouldn’t know how to behave naturally on Reddit if I’ve never used it casually. In summary, the key is to remain calm and deliberate with your actions. For example, avoid entering and exiting posts or subreddits in less than 30 seconds. The goal is to engage with a small number of posts—between 5 and 7 at most—over a 15-minute session, which is a good average per session.
You should split your daily sessions into phases. For instance:
- Start with a 10-minute warm-up session.
- After 3 hours, do a 15-minute session.
- After 7 hours, do a 20-minute session.
Avoid giving upvotes recklessly or commenting on everything you see. Instead, view a post, stay on it for 30 seconds to 1 minute to “read” or watch the video, and only then consider commenting or upvoting.
Read the comments to mimic human behavior, scroll slowly, and view posts at a relaxed pace.
When joining subreddits, take it slow. Once you enter a subreddit, spend about 5 minutes exploring its posts or reviewing its rules.
For the warm-up period before taking actions, spend 1 to 3 days just browsing without commenting or giving upvotes, especially if the account was purchased and originated from another country. However, you can save posts during this time.
For proxies, use a SOCKS5 proxy, preferably a private one to minimize the chance of it being shared by multiple users.
A simple but free anti-browser detection tool is ADS Power.
