Reddit got a bump due to google spam update

I track reddit in one niche and saw a big jump in reddit rankings in the spam update. Looks like it got a big bump up in spam update. See below

Unreal... you'd think reddit would suffer for their cloaking but instead they get rewarded.
 
yes I observed that too. I expect to see the same for the quora as well.

Recent Spam update has doomed many.

My understanding is that google is clueless what to do.

They have penalised the new websites which are more likely to have AI generated content.
Google is trusting more on older websites specially the ones which were made pre AI content era.

Websites made in last few years, Human or AI content, they have mostly tanked.

What if the site is old but the blog in it is a new one?

And also the primarily we are mainly facing indexing issue. No new pages are getting indexed. A page was published last Wednesday, still it is not indexed. But the funny thing is that the tags from the page are indexed overnight.:p
