Reddit cracking down on upvote services

Recently Reddit has been cracking down on upvote services. Some services have completely disappeared, some have not been working and others became really unreliable.

It seems like theyre doing something big now

Any thoughts on this? Is the upvote service era over or will it live on forever
I think services that use strong accounts are still in business. A platform I used not too long ago is still kicking.

As of December 2025, there's been a sharp rise in even legit accounts getting removed of their ability to upvote. The vote shows on the client-side but does never registers. I made a thread addressing this issue. It's quite possible a few upvote services have stopped working due to this problem, not that I use them.

Thank you for that contribution, a good read :)

Is any one of you really wondering why and what? Do you guys have taken some time to looks at Reddits history and current state? No homework done, I see.

This is very simple, Reddit had never made money and had monetization issues and they themselves started using own multiple accounts to make it look they're bigger than they are this is known. Now they have gone IPO and the shareholders don't wanna see ads sold to bot views, so the business priorities have changed, simple as that. Smm panels get banned because they're ran by rather dumb people where an a bunch of accounts only does upvotes in bursts, without human like contributions and they get graphed and nuked. Let me reiterate, the operators and resellers of smm panels are technically dumb and incompetent as hell, in the times of AI , you could have context aware accounts done via anti detects and clean proxies do these tasks, randomised and Reddit would know. But this is complicated to do and the market is not ripe yet, the people who buy from smm panels are also not the brightest, they look for cheap cheap cheap and are frankly shitty marketers, I would fire them on the spot.

There's companies out there which do it the right way and they're successful.

What the hell do you think will happen when a social media site sees accounts only do upvotes, never context aware comments, never have an email delivered etc.

Platform when growing will deliberately overlook that to give the impression of fast user base growth, once investors take over and especially shareholders, it's lights fucking out.

And if your little upvotes stay there for a week or whatever, they will get swept up later, Reddit and Co do not do real time monitoring, they'll observe the device fingerprints and ips and ip ranges.

Their product is now selling freaking ads. Yeah you can just normally advertise there.

Do not give smm panels the time of your day or money, get smart instead.

Yeah, I have noticed the same thing. Reddit has been tightening things for a while now, not just on services but on patterns in general. I don't think upvote service are fully dead, but they are way less reliable than before. Anything that looks artificial doesn't last long anymore. Feels like reddit is pushing harder toward natural engagement over shortcuts.

They're worse than dead, they're a liability. If your stuff is classified as using smm , the algo with send your stuff to a black hole.

Yeah, that make sense. Once Reddit tags something as SMM-type activity, it feels like the account or post is basically done. Even testing it now seems risky. Reddit definitely isn't as forgiving as it used to be.

anyone here know of an upvote panel that still works even after these crackdowns?
