Well, it's not because of the bots themselves, but the user. With bots you can easily go overboard, while manually it's harder and even then, it will be more random than with using a bot.I work for 1 year with Reddit. It doesn't work with bots.

If you know the guy who developed xgram back then for ig, he has a full pledged reddit bot to the analog of xgram, interface and such. He has a paid forum where the reddit bot is available to the subscribers. I won't name the forum here or anywhere, because that would count as promoting other forums. Anyway, if you know the guy, then you know him and his forum most probably, if not, then not.
But others already suggested iMacros, which is good unless you want something multi-threaded and capable of doing complex things as well, but just for posting to a subreddit, iMacros will suffice.

You can get a custom made redit bot , there is a reliable site they create reliable custom bot ladigita(dot)com
How do you solve the captcha with imacros?

IT's easy, depending on what captcha you use. DEathbycaptcha has a snippet for imacro on their site just copy-paste it.
