Reddit - Best tools and third-party platforms

I've never been a huge fan of Reddit, but I'm convinced there are some great opportunities on this platform! However, all these /r, rules, moderators (...) are kind of overwhelming.

This week, I've been trying to find /r where to post funny contents (videos, gifs, memes, pictures) but most of them do not accept content directly post on a website. They ask their subscribers to host their contents on external services such as Imagur.

Therefore, I'm looking for tools and third-party services to make our marketer job easier on Reddit. I'm referring to monitoring/analytics tools or even bot/panel services.

Do you guys know/use some tools of this kind?

Lol welcome to Reddit
Most Blackhatters are so used to giving IG anal they don't realize that the only way to market on Reddit is for the roles to switch.

Imgur actually has their own built-in analytics tool. Other than that there really is nothing for both platforms in terms of checking analytics.

According to your avatar, I guess you're a Reddit aficionado. What kind of advice would you give to someone trying to identify best channels where to post promotional content hosted on his website?

To be honest I don't know much about the site. I've been on there a few years now and from what I do know there really is no place to promote stuff. If you want to make it big on Reddit you have to provide value.
Write blog posts on topics that Redditors like(legalization, Bernie, Hawking, Bill Nye, Elon Musk...) and just pray that they check the rest of your site out.

Just look for subreddits that aren't heavily moderated. They're great for parasites and will rank first page with some GSA links

how do you recommend to find those, based on the number of subscribers ? or a subreddit thats not super popular so theres a chance it will be less moderated, please your inputs can help me

There will always be moderators so you cant avoid them. And promoting on small subreddits doesn't really help your cause because people rarely post on small subreddits and so it's easier for mods to find your spam post since they only have a few posts submitted every hour.
The only place where you can really promote is all the shameless plug subreddits(which suck) and this https://www.reddit.com/r/shutupandtakemymoney/

Number of subscribers doesn't matter since most of the traffic is going to come from Google after ranking the page, as long as the subreddit is related to your niche. You can easily tell how well a subreddit is moderated after you spend some time on reddit. Most obvious sign is if it is filled with outbound links.

Hey @Turhan , excuse me for being so direct in my question, how close from 0 are my chances to find /r where I can "promote" a YouTube channel? Either by posting a direct link or by using intermediate landing pages?

thank you i will do as you said, i tried a few days promoting some stuff, and even that i quickly got banned i did got the spike in traffic to my site, so there is definetly customers to target there... but the moderators are really tough.

Your chances are great. Post in /r/videos /r/mealtimevideos /r/curiousvideos /r/unknownvideos and any niche subreddits that relate
But first your videos have to be good. And I mean really good! Not like "gaming" or "reaction" or "prank" videos.
Edit: Oh i dont think I understood your question correctly. There are no subreddits where you can post a direct link to your yt channel. The above subreddits are for posting videos.

Yeah reddit moderators are super tough when it comes to promoting your sites or products. That's why I moved to using the reddit subreddits as parasites and ranking them in Google. Since they are already on a really powerful domain, it doesn't take much to rank them, even for medium competition keywords. This is where public PBN posts come in handy if you need an extra push after using GSA.

Your tactic is great, sincerely. But, I'm curious, how do you grow your subscriber audience on a niche that is already crowded on Reddit? I heard that promoting a /r from another /r is forbidden, isn't it?
