So, as my last exam finished today, i will have nearly a month rest from university, thus giving me more time to focus on IM and other stuff. I love to read books, but in the last few months other than university books i haven't read any other.
So, can any of you recommend me a good read? My personal favorites are criminal and detective books, but i will consider anything else you recommend.
Also, any other book that can inspire and motivate me or is related to IM would also be warmly welcomed.

Congratulations, my last exam for the semester was yesterday. I got an Android application development book from the uni library for the time off.

I read the lost symbol by Dan Brown a while ago and it was quite good.

Thanks, i too plan to jump in Android, but my goal is first to master structured and object-oriented programming, so learning Java would be a little easier. I have a book with around 1000 pages, so yea it will be interesting. But, first things first. :)

If you just want to relax for a little bit and leave the learning behind go for either Dune by Frank Herbert or Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card , you won't regret it ;)

A friend of mine also recommended Inferno from Dan, and it's incredible. Thanks for the recommendation.

    As coitza said before:

Orson Scott Card - Ender's game (and all the sequels)

I should add (my top favorites):

Arthur C. Clarke - Rama (all the books)
Arthur C. Clarke - The fountains of paradise
Isaac Asimov - The Foundation (all the volumes)
    Jack London - Martin Eden
    Franz Kafka - The Trial
    Lev Tolstoy - Anna Karenina

These should get you going :)

Here's a few of my recommendations (mostly non-fiction):

    - 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene
    - The Art of Seduction
    - Think and Grow Rich
    - Freakonomics
    - Emotional Intelligence
    - Sherlock Holmes Series (since you love criminal/detective books, though you've probably read the entire series lol)
