Hey guys,

Wanted to buy a good second hand camera so that I can record myself doing some woodworking projects at home.

It's a new whitehat venture I am getting into.

The video needs to be able to record to high quality but not National Geographic HD standard or anything!

I would love some recommendations! I am confused as hell there are so many out there!

Would be willing to spend 1.5k on a second hand one...

Suggestions please, Thanks in advance

blackma :)

Cheap too and should do the trick for small projects

Can't go wrong with a DSLR these days, if you're looking for top notch video. If your budget is 1.5k, check out the Canon T2i or the 7D... I have the T2i and I love it.

I also own a flip, which is like 130 bucks, and works great for youtube-quality demos. Can't go wrong either way.

mini flip sucks. dont get it. good for 5 years old filming rocks

sony cx110 is the cheapest Full 1080p HD camera. only cost 600 dollars compared to the cheapest 720 at 700 and the cheapest 1080 at 1200+

WINNER

I have an Vado HD that works pretty great, they are also pretty cheap if you look for them in the right places :D
