Recomended tool for video editing?

For such a simple task, anything beyond the difficulty level of Sony Vegas is pointless - even Windows movie maker should do the job. Besides - if you master Sony's software you will learn how to create some more-professionally looking videos, rather than just chopping pictures and stealing people's vids :D

I think if you want to produce more than 1 video Sony Vegas is amazing.
Get a template done, change the base content and render it.
 
Why on earth would you want to do that??? Take some time and make a video that will actually engage and make you some cash!!
