I have heard that some people got their Amazon account banned for:
    1. shorten affiliate links
    2. cookie stuffing

Do you know other reasons leading to an account being banned? How about if there is no privacy policy page?

Cookie stuffing yes. Basically because the visitor is unaware.

Shortening links no, unless you're using it to hide the fact that it's an Amazon affiliate link somewhere they're not allowed, and someone has filed a coplaint.

Thanks for the reply. Are there any other reasons?

There's also a sentence that you need to put somewhere on your site saying you are an amazon partner. You can find this one your Amazon Partner account.

Yes, you could have your account banned with cookie stuffing. But on shorten affiliate links? I guess not. It depends.

I read somewhere that you should not cloak the affiliate links, whether you use shortner e.g bitly or custom domain url.
