Really good Clothing line idea

Hey guys i have a lot of REALLY good designs for clothing lines which I've created myself over the past couple of months, and I KNOW they're top quality and will be purchased by many. My only problem is I don't really have that much investment money & I don't even know where to start.

Is there anyway I can make these shirts online and open a little online shop that's powered by another company that makes the shirt for me and splits profits?

Are you going to pay them in advance to make the shirts? If so, then yes you will be able to get that arranged.

If not, then you are asking for a company to invest their money in manufacturing clothing lines - and then invest their money advertising and selling the clothing - and then invest their money delivering the clothing - and then give you 50% of their profits.
 
I'm talking about something like, making an online shop, and once i get a sale for a T-shirt, the manufacturer prints it and ships it and i get split profit. Kind of like Teespring.com except I'd like to have an actual shop.
 
Everyone seems to have that "great" idea;

If you really think you got it just seek for an investor, but do it in a proper manner; prepare a business plan, a SOLID business plan and make them see how your designs can really make a difference.

Honestly man, chances are you won't get shit. If I were you I'd go with people who are close to you and can make a "trust" investment.

You should just start working on some savings however you can... if you really trust that your designs can be that big hit you should really be working 24/7 on WHATEVER you can to raise money for your dream.
 
You're really taking this into the wrong direction! If this is really a legit thread and not some JV scam crap, and you really have such great designs... just use one of the many clothing shops that allow you to upload your logo and give you a cut of the sale!
 
From what you are saying it seems to be T-Shirt Designs you have created rather than actually designing clothing patterns and your own garment styles/fabrics etc.

If that is the case use something like Vistaprint and they will print your T-Shirts on demand, there are also dropship T-shirt printers who do likewise. Just google them.

Then build a website featuring your designs, collect payment, order your design from your drop shipper and get them to post it to you/your client direct.
 
Show us some designs or your "best". There is a lot of people here that could do the selling for you.
 
I think you need silkography and it's not a big invest. Google it there is ton of tutorials.

You can do a small joint venture either with a company, or with another shirt designer for yours, you do a contract, they order the shirts, you make sure they sell and split profits. The good thing about this is, if you cant sell, they can and their money doesn't go to waste. Also great because they are getting everything the best way possible because they are already in business and all you need to do is make sure they sale in a timely manner, once someone receives product, they don't want to wait a month to hear nothing is coming out. Look for local shirt designers. Even if they are small and do shirts for their own little painting service.
 
If you can find a manufacturer and show them you have a great traffic source (social media pages, email lists, popular blogs etc..) then you can arrange a sort of dropshipping arrangement. You drive your traffic to your clothing website, they buy something, you then forward the customer/purchase details and the manufacturer makes and ships the shirt. Make sure you have built a relationship with the manufacturer beforehand, sent them the designs in the correct format, and notify them about when you launch so they can have the designs ready to manufacture as the sales come in. It's hard to begin with mate, and finding these type of people is a headache, but with persistence and hard work it will eventually all come together. Hope this helps!
 
Sounds like you need to look into spreadshirt. You can set up your own site/shop, upload your designs and they will fill and ship the orders.
 
You would have to contact a clothing manufacturer while you dropship the shirts
 
You can start small by using teespring or cafepress first.
Then approach Youtube stars, and say you would like to send them your tshirts and get them to plug you at the end of the video.
 
One of the challenges that investors face is that everyone KNOWS that their product is the best thing since (insert cliche)...95% of the time, those people are wrong.

Obviously, I have no idea if your product is good or not. Just making a point.
 
There are tons of places online to get shirts pressed. Dont worry about if its a good idea. You seem really happy and confident about it so take the risk and invest in your idea. Good Luck brothern
 
I can't believe that no one has mentioned this, or maybe they did and I skimmed over it, but what about something like kickstarter. If your product is really that great then you should have no problem there. Offer different clothing products to people who donate money and take that money and get something started for yourself.

Look at the dude who made that crazy ass cooler. Haven't checked in on that in a while but I'm sure that dude is swimming in dollar bills now.
