Not sure if this is the right place to post. If not, mods please move it to the correct area, my apologies. I'm new to these forums despite lurking around, but this is my first post. I got into affiliate marketing about two and a half months ago and have really come a long way from where I first started. I really struggled with creating a website and finding visitors. Not only did I waste time on things that didn't have much value, a good amount of time I spent was on things I'd only have to later delete because it wasn't the right way of doing things. My initial mistake from the get go was going into adult affiliate marketing because I didn't understand how low the conversion rates were (or maybe it's just me). Anyway jump a few months to the present, I'm currently getting around 5k visitors a day for the past week or so and nothing has converted. I'm using crakrevenue with only PPS because I don't want to be flagged for any shady PPL shit, but nothing has converted at all. My ctr is low, slightly below 1%. At first I thought Crak was scamming me in some way so I checked with other offers from things like AFF and chaturbate, but I'm getting the same results. Absolutely 0 signups which equates to 0 sales. I'm posting this because I'm really frustrated and want to vent, but more importantly I want your feedback. Is my expectation too high for adult affiliate marketing when it comes to a 1/300 clicks per sale? Should I quit with the amount of traffic I'm getting without sales? What do I need to do to improve? Mod Edit: Removed

Please don't ask where I'm getting this traffic as it's giving me some ******** links which adds seo to my sites and don't want it spammed, appreciate it.

Edit: These are also tube styled themes btw

If you hate me should I just kill myself?... Let me know.

That's a very dumb question.

Now back to the original topic. I see you have been doing it since 2 and a half months. Nice at archiving 5k visitors daily. Adult affiliate marketing is profitable if you know the right offers to give to your visitors. Have you changed the offer, do you know where your traffic is coming from. How long did you wait when you have changed the offer? With everything in affiliate marketing you need to have patience. To me it sounds like that your just a little impatient, so relax and take your time with it. Go through some more offers, maybe change them and give them some time.

Last question was just a joke, but not completely. I've changed the offers multiple times from fapchat, penis enhancers, mental enhancers, paysites like filf and dagfs, then back to fapchat. Majority of my traffic is mobile so I don't promote cams unless they're on desktop (slutroulette). I had dating (adult friend finder) there for a bit, but seemed like a waste. I wanted to only advertise products I believe are legit, but despite that ppl don't seem to care so now idc. I mostly go with the creatives I think are most eye catching and what could potentially sell to me (although I've never bought anything adult related). Maybe this is the wrong approach. I see a lot of shitty ads along with websites that were made in the 90s for landing pages. They absolutely don't appeal to me, but maybe that doesn't matter and what does matter is what appeals to the masses?

edit: I've honestly looked for offers that appeal to a smart audience, but I've seen none on CR other than one which I'm not authorized to sell. I find everything to be really gimmicky that would only sell to someone who just learned the internet existed yesterday.

Can you tell me what country your traffic comes from and how long you had an offer until you changed it (avg)?

Majority of the traffic is from the US. I've kept fap chat almost exclusively for a week solely for mobile devices (on desktop they see chatroulette under the video instead) which get the most clicks because I figure it would appeal more to them. Keep in mind this new wave of traffic i'm getting is from my own efforts and so hasn't been for very long so a week and half is how long I've been getting 5k+ per day. I'm getting the feeling though that this type of marketing could never work because an internet audience is too smart to fall for something sketchy as these "fake dating sites". I really want to use CR because of how much I've heard great things about them and how they're legit and will payout. The last thing I'd want is to use an ad network that doesn't payout, however all the offers I've seen just look so tacky and nothing that ppl would actually buy. Should I be switching to a new ad network which promotes better products? I'd like to promote things that are legitimate instead, but I haven't found a good alternative looking around.

This is the best advice for newbies.

Newbies want everything with very little effort and most of them want it without spending a dime :p

Affiliate marketing like traditional marketing takes time to get profitable.

You don't close down your newly established shop for no sales. Instead you change the product to meet the demands of incoming traffic ie the people roaming around your shop.

Replace the word "shop" with your website, Twitter profile or fb profile or instagram profile which you are using for affiliate marketing. In this way, you would understand what your position is.

Now, if you still keep on crying about sales of the adjacent shop who's there for last 10 years then you are being impatient. You have to put in hard work and wait for the results.

If there are no results then again you have to work hard, however you might need to change your focus / direction. When you fail, you need to get up and try again. But before you try again, you need to get advice from the one who's successful in your field. After getting advice, you need to think by yourself about the next plan (ie put your own twist to the next plan).

I hope, this gets you moving once again.

Warmest Regards,

Deby.

Thanks for the response. I did understand what the position is to a degree, but I've let the sheer amount of traffic to no sales/signups get to my head. I'll try to go at it from another angle, thanks again.

Give it some more time. I think we all know how you are feeling in that moment. You want to earn the money and if possible it should've happened yesterday already but you gotta give it some more time.
Also, you said you wanted to stay with Crakrevenue -> i had great experience with their support so why don't you ask your aff manager which offers are converting best for us traffic? I am sure they will help you.

Your low CVR can be a few reasons...

Bad Landing Page
Rubbish Traffic

If your landing page is good, i would try using a different source of traffic

But not even getting 1 conversion is very weird if you are getting 5k visitors per day

Yeah I'll either have to change how I try to sell to this crowd or just forget about them for sales and just use it for backlinks

I removed it, anyway. Please don't speak like that.

The above is something you've learned from.

It's never a waste of time - remember that.

Start from the basics - and know when you fuck things up, you come away learning something knew. Christ... I was earning £100 a week with MyLikes and then thought, "Feck... I can do this myself!" and write articles with my own adsense .... and got to £12,000 a month.

I've spoken to them a few times, but for the most part got somewhat cookie cutter answers when it comes to what they'd recommend for top selling offers (they have decent support though). I decided though that if I reach 1k clicks without anything, I'm most likely leaving them. I'm thinking of creating some custom ads (tried it for a day and got a lot more clicks) which will lead to an informative self run blog on the benefits of xyz product and drop ship myself. I just don't understand how any of the products on adult sites have ever sold given a lot of them are so cheesy. I've rarely clicked an ad and when I have, it's basically an instant click back. I've come to understand that not all things that appeal to me, appeal to others. It sounds bad, but I think a lot of ppl like low quality content and I'm either going to have to target a smarter audience, or find the 1 in a million idiot and drive insane traffic daily.
