So they are now charging for Toolbar too.

Ahrefs' SEO Toolbar now consumes Export rows per month

Previously, using the Toolbar consumed Rows per month. Since this limit doesn't exist for new subscriptions, it now consumes Export rows per month instead.
It'll cost one Export row credit to show page and domain metrics when the metrics bar is on, when requesting metrics by clicking on the extension icon, or when you get SEO metrics for search results on SERPs (with the traditional 10-results SERP page, ten credits will be spent.)
No credits will be spent if the metrics display is disabled in the Toolbar settings.

SEO is becoming more and more expensive.

I wonder how much does the extra bots cost for semrush to crawl as frequently as ahrefs?

SEMrush gotta up their game a bit as most people quitting Ahrefs are likely going there.

And MOZ is out of the equation.

You either pay or switch to SEMrush. Ahrefs Trustpilot is trashed with negative feedbacks. They were sitting on 5-star green, and now:

KdeLebQ

They're really trying to patch up any potential profit leaks for themselves. Money getting tight over there on Raffles Quay?
More like they don't have competition and they can charge whatever the Fck they want for their scraped information ;)

Like Nvidia, the competition is close, but not as good as them, so they can charge whatever the Fck they want for their products.

Don't like it? Build something similar or better and don't charge users to use it :)

Capitalism at it's best

Years back Semrush were head & shoulders better than Ahrefs, who them upped their game and became much better.

Semrush now are getting better and better while Ahrefs are getting slowly worse and more costly.

big loss. It means they don't take any negative feedback into consideration. There are many complaints about Ahrefs in BHW too. I was wondering if I should use ahrefs or semrush soon. In this case, my decision will most likely be semrush...

This is the biggest 'WTF' moment I had since Google's last announcement.
Thanks for that.

I'm too poor for the paid tools but last week I noticed they made 2 updates to the Free Backlink Checker. Making it shittier as an improvement :P

just bought a year worth of SEM rush, paid around 95$ a month and not lookin back
Ahrefs can go F themselves.

Damn they are greedy AF.

SPP is next after Ahrefs.

The prices are outrageous.

At this rate, Ahrefs will be out of top 3 fav SEO tools soon

now i wonder how this will work. people move out , ahref take hit from profit. than rather than fixing it, they will let's charge more, next thing we know it cost money to even click lol

They are loosing clients everyday and will loose more.

when these bastards will realize this, will be to late.

I heard with the new META VR helmet if you think the word "ahrefs" you automatically get charged $99! :D
