It sounds to me that you do not need a link builder as much as you need a SEO service. There is a significant difference.
I have several services where I sell links and try to get my clients to understand that it is not a "all you need shop"; most link sellers are not.
I also own a SEO service where I handle the entire process for a client, taking care of their on site SEO, choosing backlinks (what kind, when, where, how, etc) and give the clients access to my rank tracking service so they can see the changes.
Two entirely different operations and the mindsets are significantly different as well.
You want links? It is on you to figure out what you need.
You want rankings? Pay an entity that provides a full complement SEO service that handles the whole nine yards.
Again, to me you sound like you would be best served with the latter.
