Readable spinned content

I had this website for a few months now and because of work and laziness I only recently started to add content and promote products. It's a site that will contain a few clickbank niches inside it. Right now it only has one. It's my first website so I dont plan on making much with it and because I'm still in the learning process I dont want to spend money on articles. That being said: Do spinned articles still work? By spinned I don't mean posting the exact garbage that the spinner spewed out. I'm not retarded so I proof read everything, rephrase words and sentences...basically I make it 100% readable for humans. The content is between 90-100 % unique according to the free plagiarism checker tools online( I don't know how realiable those are but I use 3 or 4 tools for each article).

I know people have asked about spinned content before but to my understanding those people would like to copy/paste an article the way the spinner outputs it. That's why I could not find an answer to my question, because people don't give enough details in the question so the answers are not very "precise".

So with the things I said above in mind, with the article being basically hand rewritten but with different words from the spinner and phrases rearanged, 100% readable by any human, will google still slap me back into oblivion? Am I doing at least something good or am I wasting my time? Can my website eventually rank by doing this?

If you are planning on proof reading and altering the article why bother spinning?

It will take you just as long to spin, proof read, rewrite, plagiarism check, rewrite for uniqueness, check again etc as it would to just rewrite the article yourself in the first place.

Just copy the article to notepad, open a blank notepad and place them side by side on your screen, then start writing. Guaranteed you will end up with a unique and readable article.

Despite what many people may tell you and the garbage that gets put forth as truth, you can rank with just about ANYTHING. You are NOT going to get slapped by google unless it's a manual review. As long as the content is UNIQUE. Unique does not always mean good or readable, etc. The truth is you can also rank with dup content, but let's stay out of that for now. Ranking is one thing. Converting visitors to $ is another. You have to use crappy content in specific ways to succeed. But the idea that google with their algo can tell the difference between good content and junk is HILARIOUS.

The answer to your original question is 100% YES. It still works.

Am not into marketing ... so not sure ... but many marketers I know, use spinning ... and there's demand for good spin-ready content.
