Question: Have you ever tried or trying to target other languages search engines (Russian, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese) for a spam?

Answer: Other languages, me personally? No. But they are probably 3-4 years behind in terms of spam detection, so they're still a good target for spam if you don't mind running on the black hat churn & burn treadmill.

Yes. Just because we can't see PageRank doesn't mean it's not the primary metric Google uses. What else?

Check out their ToS. It still warns against trying to "manipulate PageRank." Why do you think they would specifically want to protect that?

"Any links intended to manipulate PageRank or a site's ranking in Google search results may be considered part of a link scheme and a violation of Google's Webmaster Guidelines. This includes any behavior that manipulates links to your site or outgoing links from your site."

PR is just a "snapshot in time" it does give us a benchmark in terms of how Google rates a page. I think the primary driver is the underground PR economy - the higher the PR the higher the price that a website can charge for a link. Google would LOVE to end that relationship. Google is likely to maintain pagerank internally - just one more thing to add to the "not disclosed" category for the rest of us. PA/DA TF/CF ?

Looking at ptengine I dont think you did a very good job at going whitehat.

One look in ahrefs shows 5 homepage links of domains that are currently not active, which have a history in archive.org as expired domains/for sale in 2013-2014, yet ahrefs picked up those links to ptengine from the homepage in February this year - PBN domains?

Then we have a 301 from an old domain that one way or another got a bunch of chinese anchors hitting it?

Where's the "Inbound Marketing" magic?

But lets give em a break, they might be coming from the "seo company" they hired in the past.
