Re-using web 2.0 blogs for back links

A couple of months ago I sold a site which was ranked with my web 2.0 network of 20 sites. All of my main keywords were on page one with a keyword difficulty of 29, 31 and 36. I created another site in the same niche back in August and added about 10 links from th web 2.0 network and I then left the site until the 3rd week of October after I had sold the original site. Since the end of October I have removed all the links to my old site and replaced with either new links or moved the anchor text to another part of the articles on the web 2.0s.

Two months after the sale not all of my web 2.0s are showing on my new site under GWT, I've added more tier 2 links from fiverr behind the web 2.0s, 9 of them have 50+ links going into them. My buyer did not take me off Google analytics, so I can see in GWT loads of my web 2.0s are powering his site and not boosting mine :-( I've re-indexed the web 2.0s, pinged them and now I'm deleting posts that were linked to my old site and creating new ones.

I'm not sure how to get my network fully powering up my new site seeing as I've bought over 300 pbn links to power up the web 2.0s.

Your blogs are indexed so don't worry about it. Now GW is taking too long time to count the web 2.0 blogs (from my experience). Wait a few more days and it will show in GW i believe. Agreed with @moneyflower you can keep the links and update anchor with new post. That will help to boost your web 2.0 more. Anyways your choice :-)

why u not create new post and link to your new site without delete old post?

Well, I sold the site, not the web 2.0 blogs and I'm hitting the same niche, so I don't want to keep ranking a competitor.

I've removed all the links to my old site and replaced them with links to my new site, anyway the old site seems to be doing better after I sold it.
 
Wow, just a bad business practice here, unless you sold the site based entirely upon content, not counting rank/traffic/anything SEO related, because otherwise you are actively attempting to remove the backlink profile to the site you sold, which was more than likely factored into the sale price/consideration... Why not just report their PBN, or report the backlinks you made to get rid of them while you're at it, maybe send a GSA blast at their money site? I mean they're a competitor now... I mean, hey you got their money already.

Just build new posts or even new web 2.0 properties and build it up again, without ripping them down.
 
Google has to re-crawl the pages.

Get google to the page.

I call this a spam services. You guys who fill Fippa of full of shit spam sites.

Yeah sorry OP but you don't deserve help. That's a shit thing to do. Basically scammed your buyer.
 
Hardly scamming, the site is higher than when I sold it, so the new owner is using a hosted pbn to rank it better.

Did you tell the owner you were going to remove the links before they purchased it?

The new owner didn't ask about how it was ranked, but said they could do a better job. I pointed out it had a web 2.0 network, but that was not for sale and they were happy to buy. The new owner didn't ask for the links to be kept and I presume it's powered by a pbn network now as the average site position has increased since it was bought and continued increasing after I had removed my links.

I wouldn't expect someone to rank my site if I bought a website, you buy the keywords and the keyword competitiveness, most of the content has been changed too and with a Thrive theme.

Well each to their own - but I certainly disagree with what you have done.

At least I know to ask questions to cover this in the future!
 
I agree with OP. If the buyer bought OP's site because the buyer thinks he can do better ranking it, then OP can remove the web 2.0 links. Buyer did not asked how it was ranked so I think removing the links was not a big deal to the buyer.

I wouldn't mess with it as far building links. Just build new links with your exisiing web 2.0s or create new web 2.0s. If their not getting indexed there's no use in trying to beat a bad horse anyways.
