Re Selling WIndows Keys

So let me run through the basic concept...

I have a source to get cheap windows keys (legit Retailer)

I can get the keys for a really good deal that leave great profit margins without breaking the $20-$25 resale price

The Plan:

1. Purchase a few keys to have on hand
2. Setup a site (Wordpress site or a single landing page)
3. Drive traffic...
4. Monitor Results and optimize

The main question I have and would like to see if anyone has any answer to is what Paid ads route can one take to scale/check if it's a viable project?

Appreciate any feedback you may have.​

I would focus in alternative markets, local languages and build something organic with SEO. Of course, if you have money to invest in ads, it can work as well and speed it up. I know some websites in local markets earning a good amount of money and ranking pretty well on Google without much effort, since the competition is way lower

I think this is well worth a shot, I will definitely be looking into it :)

I just wish to try some ads because I feel it will help in regards to optimizing the site etc while also bringing in some instant traffic the only issue I see is AdWords not liking the keywords...

Most likely I will be using native/pop/push ads in this case... just not to sure on the conversion rates of these for this niche but we'll see :)

Alternatively I need to worry about payment processors as they don't really take too kindly to digital goods...
 
I usually see this sites spends on ads on facebook I got one key because of an add I saw on facebook problem is there are a few sites that have a long time and recommended by everyone so your challange here is create a reputation for everyone besides the seo to get traffic most of this type of services I always find them because of ads on facebook.

I was wondering if you can share that source or tell me how much will you charge for each key.

what is the source of key ?
 
II have done this. I too have a great supplier for windows and office keys as well as other products. I created a wordpress website and ran ads on FB. In the beginning there was low competition and sales were very good and made decent profits. But now too much competition now and cost per sale on FB has gone very high. Dont make much profits now adays. But you can definitely give it a try in your local marketplace or also run FB ads and see how it goes.
 
The problem is with trust. Most people avoid buying from random sites as there are many scams going around. I've seen many people lose money after paying to sites that appeared in Google ads & Fb ads. So, the sales won't be enough to recover your ad budgets. It's better to sell these keys in marketplaces where some moderation gives trust to users. You can only get enough sales on a site if you're an authority or have plenty of positive reviews off-site.
 
Maybe you can try selling those keys to actual PC stores or technicians? That's another idea.

The market for keys is sooo saturated though sadly.
