RD vs Backlinks?

to moneysite what i should i do to get improvement in rankings?
Referring domains or back links?

RDs are Referring Domains, you could have 1 Referring Domain and 10,000 backlinks from a sitewide footer link on that one domain for example. I always work on the basis that if you got a link from herpderp.com, then having a second link from herpderp.com is unlikely to add as much value as the first link did (unless it's placed in a better page etc etc). It's better to get 1 link on multiple domains as oppose to multiple links on fewer domains. So focus on building links on new domains everytime, this will increase both RD and Backlinks

okay so what you mean to say is i must push RD to my site so automatically the backlinks will improve?

Yes 1 Referring Domain = at least 1 Backlink.

Long story short, it's better to have more referring domains
 
work on 1 domain at a time, if you can find a referring domain where you can put a link in, why not create a good amount of content on the domain and have multiple links to your website?
Keep in mind that don't be obsessed creating more links in one domain. As many above have mentioned, more referring domains is better than more links from the same domain.
