Hi guys, I'm a total newbie to ranking youtube videos in google SERP (not in youtube) so I thought I will give it a try.

Is it important to buy views and comments when ranking in google? Or are backlinks enough?
I'm on a tight budget, I see there are some lower quality (or more spammy) services in the marketplace, for youtube video it shouldn't be a problem. Am I right?

Is there any service which you can recommend?
Thanks :)

Everything is important dude.. there's no shortcuts, and I can promise you that you will not rank video only with one cheap service.. if that would be so easy, I would be millionaire

I've ranked youtube videos without any views. In fact, I prefer to let the views happen naturally. It's really the same as ranking any site, except Youtube obviously has more trust. I would buy contextual blog links from a provider here BHW. There really is no need to blast the site. Just be patient and consistent, and you'll get results.

BTW, if a video is already ranking for your term, you'll probably have to meet or exceed their link volume/quality.

Good luck.

I think ranking a video is the same as ranking a webpage. Just blast it with links :)

Agreed. I have some videos ranked that have very few views and haven't had a ton of backlinking. It's mostly because other videos aren't ranking for that term yet, but Google loves displaying videos, so they're going to want to rank a video that fits, even if it's not been worked on a bunch yet.

In which case, OP, yes, you could rank with rather cheap budgets. Take your budget and throw it into some good services and hope the rest will naturally happen.

If your budget is tight, considering to buy GSA SER software because you can use it several times. But you must learn about how to use it, this is complicated.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it :-)
There is no video currently ranked for my term. It's fun because I have been ranking only websites till now, it's nice trying something new.

Views and comments help a lot with YT engine ranking, and slightly with Google SERP ranking. Vice versa for backlinks.

No need of view to rank your videos on google, if you are working on a popular keywords, views and likes would come on their own.
