I have ranked websites using single facebook fan pages before.

Example: (I dont know if this is a low comp keyword but it should be low comp if you don't want have to build links to the fan page to rank it)

Fan Page Title: Cats For Sale
Fan Page Description Containing "Cats For Sale"
Fan Page URL: facebook.com/CatsForSale

Before OR After the fan page ranks on the first page of google for the keyword you can then point the fan page at your money site.

Thats what I have done in the past. Now I am wondering a few things..... Has anyone ever pointed 3-5 even 10-20! separate fan pages at the same website? Any experiences?

My idea is to rank a fan page for each keyword I want my money site to rank for. Then point them all at my money site (one fan page per url on my money site).

I am not asking these questions to have someone tell me to test it. I dont have time to test it and find out that it will trigger a penilty on my site. I am asking to see if anyone here has done anything similar?

I also thought of pointing each fan page at its own website and then point each website at my money site.... Would this pass enough of the link juice from the fan page with the extra steps. LOL this is starting to sound like a PBN.....

I have other questions about this, but want to see where this goes first.

Thanks,

If you think nofollow backlinks will pass link juice to your site, then by all means proceed with your strategy. FB fan page links are nofollow by default, and nofollow = useless for SEO.

Well there is proof that some sites do get rank from fan pages. But do you think there would be any penalty to the money site for this even if they are nofollow? Or is it fine? What about the fan pages themselves, could they get dropped from google if it sees that are all related and all direct traffic to the same money site?

If YOU think ranking FB pages is hard to do..and isn't seo, think again. SEO IS ranking. OP isn't saying he's using the juice from Fb pages..he's RANKING THEM.

You're worrying too much. Fb links themselves aren't going to do much for you to rank another page- just use the traffic to CONVERT.
Just focus on ranking your pages themselves and utilize the traffic..

I have tested 3 fb pages in the past. Like I made 3 fb pages in one niche, linked back to my site though all of them and sent a lots of links to them. Nothing happened to the site ranking, but one of those FB page still ranks on first page of google for that term...

Dear,
Well, if your fan page ranks well on the search engine then it will enable you to get more traffic but you still need SEO services for your website.

Hi, That's a good idea and I've tried it, not exactly the same method but a bit different.
Here's what I think about this idea.
1. Facebook is a PR9 site but your links will be no-follow and won't pass any link juice (if you are thinking to build some backlinks to the FB page).
2. If you build say 10-20 links to your website all from different FB pages it won't help much because You'll be getting links from the same domain. So, Your website's referring links will be 20 but referring domains will be 1 and Google only counts at least 3-4 links from the same domain and rest of the links won't make any difference.

So, What I do is:-
1. Install a facebook app called Static HTML >>apps.facebook.com/static_html_plus<< (copy paste in browser). After Installing the app, you'll see a picture telling "Welcome" in the apps section of the FB page like this

Now Open it and now you can add a post or embed videos, photos like you do in your websites. It's like a website. Here you can add a do-follow link to your site. Copy this page's URL, this will be your backlink to your website. It should look like this>> facebook.com/yourpage/app_190322544333196

Make backlinks to it to make it a powerful backlink to your website. Believe me it's more powerful than other High authority backlinks.

2. I don't make more than 4 links like these all from different FB pages and I mentioned the reason earlier.

I hope this post has helped you.

Added mysite.com to the tab index page. It highlights the link, but it will not link to the page when you click it. :(
