It's still making a good amount of money but i don't like how things are going.

Could you please guide me on what could be the reason ?

the reasons could be many, and it's hard to pinpoint them from this screenshot as we don't see anything of importance, but regardless, here are a few that pop to mind...

- people don't watch TV anymore, not even online (not an obvious reason yet but it will become obvious in the coming years)

- you might have been affected by August's core update (probably this is the main reason, but unfortunately I don't know how to fix what the update broke, try looking around the forum for a solution, people always open up threads after important google updates and sometimes they share the fix too)

- you've been outranked (check the before / after rankings of the pages that lost the traffic and see if you can spot new or stronger competition. If you do spot new / better competition build more & better links to the outranked pages, and / or update the content)

- google have done shenanigans again with their SERPs and have replaced sites (or pushed them lower on the page) with their garbage (ads, YT, generative AI, etc...) Again, check how the SERPs looked before / after you lost the traffic and if you see new layout / elements in the SERPs there's not much you can do and you should either find other keywords or change the niche)

Hello, thanks for the reply.

I suspect content penality or somethg related since google is taking my articles out of index.

i will try to salvage my content and get some guest posts and see if it improves . if not i would quit the website and go for another

It was the August core update, could be many reasons. You can try to analyze which keywords are ranking less and which pages are down. Try to optimize and improve the content on those pages.

Alternatively, you can wait and sit it out and see if it climbs back up.

What type of content you had on the sites ? AI or manual ?

How were you doing seo for the websites ?

You should consult some SEO seller to develop an strategy from here to recover but read his reviews first.

If it's still making you money I wouldn't quit on it. Just view it as a side project. Invest your time on a new website yes but don't completely abandon it.
