How do you add sitemaps to g-sites? Is it you added your own domain? I know the free g-sites does not use sitemaps.

As far as i know G-sites do not use sitemaps. That was confirmed in a google forum i found, as it is a google property. If you add the sitemap.xml in the sitemap section of GSC you will get an errror message.
