I noticed my competition using twitter to rank first on google. They are using what seems to be fake accounts and the hashtag symbol. The profile on the top changes as time goes by. Can anyone refer me to information on this method ? whether on this forum or elsewhere.

Are they ranking their website or their twitter page on google with the hashtags ?
they are ranking a twitter thread with hashtags. so you see a thread with different messages and embedded links to their pages
just to sharpen things up. its not accurate to say that "they're ranking" google ranks the thread, basically anyone can appear on the thread all you need to do is the hastag. I would think that you need some kind of twitter bot application to do this. but I was wondering if there's anyone that can shed some light on this methodSomeone needs to case-study this
