You are damn right. There are a lot of companies in Vietnam making huge money from youtube. They have seperate team to create contents, rank video, get traffic... Those companies have been in the market for years.

Spot on. Large channels promoting each other on YouTube, playlists, auto play ( playlist cards/links rather than normal ones), placing each other on the featured list, promote one video across all end cards on multiple channels, unlock suggested, open browse and boom..
YouTube takes multiple factors to rank.

Check the end of video and you can just go out as in a spider web to playlists that all have these channels videos within them. They have 100s of accounts and link to the playlists at the end of video and cards.

Simple as that Per se you need the traffic then just redistribute it to new published videos and those will rank better due to this effect. Also you lure kids into the net making them get these recommendations afterwards.
Youtube is kinda messed up right now so I am trying to figure shit out too. Creating 5 new channels at the moment hoping to create a small network like this later.

They certainly do not use VPS for boosting their videos since 99% VPS are blacklisted to Google...
Nowdays If you do not have unique cookies and cashe when you watch some video, that video is probabbly become ghosted withing 12hrs from the moment you start with such views.
End cards doesn't have the role what you think they have, you can see that at the end of videos at their biggest channel, promoting mainly their own videos

I was paying full time job 2D animator 1000$, and 800$ for ilustrator who was making backgrounds and characters and mostly everything what animator asked for
So 1800$ in total, 30 animations (~1min long) per month
So, that would be 60$ per animation.

I am vietnamese. I know exactly what they do.
Exchange or buy views, subcribers...they also get traffic from many source like social, websites.. to boost their channel.
Especially, i have just seen someone brocast the streamming video 24/7 with keywords

i already do this now with all of my channels , and it came after my long hunt for few years. but thing is sadly no one will share the ranking method with you because it will get patched.
