I found a low competition keyword with monthly searches up-to 2k, I registered a domain based on that keyword literally 1 year ago. I started my website again and this time it's an auto-blog, Google has indexed half of the content but my website is still not ranking for that keyword. Why is that?

I even tried pushing it by creating various backlinks but still no luck. Google just does not want to display my website in that specific keyword even if my domain is based on that keyword. My on-site SEO 100% points to the keyword I want to rank for.

Any help?

Hi, how did you measure the keyword competition.?
Check other domain which are ranking for your keyword.

Refresh content, build some high DA backlinks (site wide).

Don't over optimize keywords.

For autoblog do you mean you just copy articles from various sources? and you want to rank only with the keyword in the domain?

Any help?

Do you rank for anything? any long tail? partial match? your domain name (without .com (or else) extension)?
Check that first to see the health of your site.

Nope. You can't expect quick results on sites like this.

What do you by auto-blog?

Are you just copying and pasting content from other blogs?

If you are doing that, forget about ranking.

How do you determine level of competition? I`ve seen Ahrefs showing low competition for hard kws.
