Ranking improvements, but India only.

Hey guys, I am just curious looking at my rankings improvements (I am new to SEO btw). It's been ~2.5 months for me right now and I've actually made some decent progress with high-quality backlinks (niche guest posts and edits with high DA), but I noticed my rankings are improving only for searches in India and they are not moving in the USA at all despite the same difficulty and volume.

Is there anything I don't know or it is normal and all I need is keep doing my job?

For example:

USA #1:
Volume 500K
Difficulty 75
My position: >100

India #1
Volume 380K
Difficulty 77
My position:16

The same goes for basically all of my top keywords, I would get like position 8 in India, but >100 in the USA. And my website is international and not local, fully in English, and was never having anything in common with India. How do you deal with it?

my strategy is to spend a lot of money on the most expensive high-quality packages from VIP executives from this forum, I do TIER-1 links only at the moment

It can be because of hosting servers or shared hosting in India, backinks from websites in India, Google gsc account - that gmail is from India, content is written in British English rather than American English. Could be one or a combo of these.

Google algo loves to pin the website down locally.

US serp is manipulated.
Only big brands rank there (for competitive keywords).
Read some SEO forums around and you'll see many webmasters have issue with US serp.

IP is the United States, I don't see any backlinks from Indian websites, GSC account made from Germany, I don't know about British or American English, but it is certainly English. Website is international, there is no way you can pin it locally since it is not a business operating on some territory and whatnot.

Well, I certainly can afford ranking there since my website doesn't have any big competitors and especially brands, I just don't know what are my steps and if I even need to do anything extra. I'll try to find info related to US SERP, thanks.

I lived 12 years in America. You will be astonished to know how different it is from British English.
Some Americans, and it's true, don't even call english english they call it just
American like German or France. Especially in non costal area.

Yeah, I get it, I just don't know if my page would be considered American or British since I did it myself with some help from Grammarly and references, that's it

Also seems kind of harsh to rank a page for Europe at like #10 and rank the USA at >100 just because it is British English and not American English. I guess I'll just wait until my backlinks are indexed and then probably something will change since I really don't see the difference between me and my #1 competitor, the dude literally has 4000 words copied homepage from some other website that ranks lower than him.

European English is British English.

You can try "international targeting" and target united states via GSC "legacy tools and reports"
